In 2007 when the housing market crashed the only thing, we knew was HARD-WORK. During that time the construction industry was in a hard place and many families were in an even worse spot. That was our first year in business. Even so, that was not an excuse for Jose Aka “Lupe” our CEO who had been working in Stucco & Stone since the 1990s. Who would take on any project at the time even if the profit margins were marginless. He would take pride in his work and make sure we would leave quality work no matter the profit margin. We carry that same INTEGRITY in 2022 and for as long as there is stucco on the temples of Mexico and Central America. (which has been centuries.)

A couple of years earlier in 2006, the Herrera FAMILY welcomed their daughter into the world. During maybe the hardest financial time they could have imagined. Well without pressure there are no diamonds. Raising a family and managing a business is never easy and managing a business with your family is even harder. Even so, Cindy, our CFO would always make sure the numbers always made sense and be the one to answer every phone call from the inception of the company. Many sleepless nights sending out bids, measuring jobs, crunching numbers doing accounting just to have to be up with endless calls at the break of dawn from Superintendents, Project Managers, Potential Clients, & nagging Employees. We have instilled the patience she has demonstrated with getting her job done to the best of her abilities in the office with that on the field with our CRAFTSMANSHIP in all our products.
